Hemp Works was established in 1993 by Adam Dunn and Douglas
Mignola. With their store, and
soon to be released in-house
clothing label, Hemp Hoodlamb, they wanted to
promote a contra-movement
against the mass-production and
mass-pollution of the clothing
industry and demonstrate
that a solution for sustainable
production could be found in
hemp and other environmentally
friendly materials.
The main idea behind the
HoodLamb line was to create
stylish clothing that people would
want to wear regardless of the
fact it’s made of hemp.
Our Philosophy
With our store and our brand Hemp HoodLamb we aim to offer people an alternative to synthetic and uncomfortable wear and promote the use of eco-friendly fabrics and especially hemp.
We believe that by combining hemp & other eco-friendly materials with new innovative design; fashion and sustainability can be combined into one entity.
Stylish, urban wear that's not only beautiful but also high in comfort and produced in an earth friendly way.
When it comes to design, we choose not to follow the hypes of the fashion world but create apparel that never goes out of style. For every new collection we work together with guest designers to create unique pieces and prints.
Progress is a key-element of our philosophy. That’s why we try to stay on the fore front of eco technology and each new season HoodLamb features new developments in functionality and sustainability.
